Step into a magical winter day at Farm, Frost and Fairytales, a full-day farm experience designed to spark imagination and celebrate the beauty of the season. Hosted by Growing Gardens at Hawthorn Farm, this immersive program invites children to explore winter on the farm through storytelling, hands-on activities, and outdoor adventure.

From creative crafts to interactive nature exploration, participants will discover how the farm transforms during winter while engaging in imaginative fairytale-themed fun. It’s the perfect school day off experience for young adventurers in Boulder.

Over the last 25 years, Growing Gardens has brought regenerative agriculture education and food donations to over 136,000 Boulder County residents. Growing Gardens’ programs empower people of all ages, income levels, and abilities by reconnecting them with their local food systems and teaching gardening, cooking, and nutrition education. Thousands of pounds of produce, as well as plant starts and seeds, are donated to low income community members to impart greater food security and hunger relief in our community.
