Denver, CO – November 2024 – Legendary alternative rock band Freddy Jones Band is gearing up for their highly anticipated “Don’t Quit Your Daydream” performance, which will mark the band’s final public show of 2024. This special event will take place on November 30, 2024, at The Oriental Theater in Denver, CO, and promises an unforgettable night filled with the band’s signature sound, timeless hits and some brand new songs.

While the band’s name may suggest a member named Freddy Jones, none of the band members share this name. However, their music has become an iconic staple of the alternative rock scene, with hit songs like “In a Daydream,” “Take the Time,” and “One World” continuing to captivate fans across generations.

For their final show of 2024, Freddy Jones Band will perform fan favorites from their extensive catalog, alongside fresh tracks from their latest EP, EP23. The EP includes recent singles “Connected” and Mirror Ball,” as well as a special 30th Anniversary Edition of “In a Daydream,” which continues to resonate with listeners on streaming platforms worldwide.

The Freddy Jones Band’s 2024 performance comes on the heels of their successful album Never Change, produced by three-time Grammy-winning producer Justin Niebank. Niebank, who described the album as “the best record I’ve worked on in years,” helped elevate the band’s timeless sound, ensuring their place as one of alternative rock’s most enduring and influential acts. With heartfelt lyrics and a signature style that has been a constant force for over three decades, Freddy Jones Band continues to inspire and connect with both long-time fans and new listeners alike.

Direct Support: Stone Beat Invasion

Adding to the excitement of the night, Stone Beat Invasion will serve as direct support for Freddy Jones Band, bringing their unique tribute show to the stage at 7:30 PM. For the past 9 years, Stone Beat Invasion has been the Rocky Mountain region’s only tribute to both The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. From the first notes of “Satisfaction” to the powerful climax of “Gimme Shelter,” Stone Beat Invasion electrifies the crowd with their raw and high-energy re-creation of The Rolling Stones concert experience.

In the same set, the band takes audiences on a trip through the scope of The Beatles’ legendary catalog, from the sing-along pop of “Hard Day’s Night” to the psychedelic journey of “I Am the Walrus.” Drawing on the nostalgia of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, Stone Beat Invasion transports listeners to a bygone era of rock and roll excess, fashion, and timeless riffs. No set is ever the same, as this ten-piece band can pull deep cuts and iconic hits from both catalogs at a moment’s notice.

After attending one of their performances, Alan Sperry of Denver Entertainment Hub exclaimed, “The only person better than Bobby Greiert at being Mick Jagger is Mick Jagger.”

Opening the Show: Chris Stake from The Trampolines

The evening kicks off at 7:00 PM with a special performance by Chris Stake, frontman of The Trampolines. Known for their infectious melodies and energetic live shows, The Trampolines have earned a reputation as one of the most exciting acts in the alternative rock scene. Chris Stake’s dynamic stage presence will set the perfect tone for the night of live music to come.
