Join veteran naturalist Dave Sutherland for an engaging and informative talk on how to create a beautiful, thriving garden using native plants. With over 35 years of experience, Dave will share practical tips, insights, and inspiration for designing a garden that supports local ecosystems—inviting birds, pollinators, and other wildlife to buzz, sing, and flourish.

A longtime field naturalist and former member of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, Dave has managed native plant gardens, led countless educational programs, and is widely respected for his work in sustainable and wildfire-conscious gardening. Attendees will also have the opportunity to receive native plant seeds to get started at home.
