Acclaimed songwriter and producer Don Miggs brings his gutter sinatra project to Roots Music Project Boulder for two intimate nights, February 13-14, 2026, supporting singer-songwriter Stephen Kellogg. Born during COVID lockdown and mixed by legendary producer Bob Clearmountain in just ten days, gutter sinatra’s self-titled debut album channels ’70s radio nostalgia with dusty, melancholic sounds reminiscent of Jackson Browne meeting Beck. After five years keeping these deeply personal songs private, Miggs decided to share them following the LA fires that destroyed Clearmountain’s studio—a reminder to embrace the present. The album explores finding normalcy in chaotic times through yacht rock-influenced indie folk and Americana sounds. Known for his work with other artists and his band Whole Damn Mess, Miggs crafted gutter sinatra as “a selfish act of preservation” during uncertain times. Experience this rare live debut of introspective songwriting, vintage production, and Boulder’s intimate music scene at Roots Music Project.
