Longmont Symphony Orchestra proudly unveils its 59th season under the resonant theme Unity in Sound, celebrating music as a bridge between cultures, histories, and generations. Music Director Elliot Moore leads a rich series of performances, beginning October 4 with works by Kodály, Bortkiewicz, and Brahms, and continuing with compelling programs featuring Prokofiev, Handel, Tchaikovsky, and more. Highlights include a Candlelight Concert of Messiah, the beloved holiday ballet The Nutcracker, and a season finale Pops concert, Best of Broadway. The season also features a world premiere by Massimiliano Messieri and performances by celebrated soloists such as Anna Shelest, Sharon Roffman, Clancy Newman, and Abigail Nims.
