30jan2:00 pm4:00 pmICE Out Organizing Meeting! Solidarity Strike with Minnesota

Event Details

We are joining the call to action for a nationwide shutdown, put out by Somali Student Association, Ethiopian Student Association at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, U of MN Black Student Union, Liberian Student Association at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, to stand in solidarity with their demands for justice and ICE out! The students are asking for people to sign on in solidarity at nationalshutdown.us

We are joining this call to action because we know ICE could be coming to Colorado next, and we need to be prepared and start building up community reliance now.

So on Friday, at 2pm we’ll be meeting at La Alma / Lincoln Park. We are inviting community organizations to table and share resources, and asking the community to show up and join us, if possible with donations for the cold weather, or hot food or drinks to share.

This is being organized in coalition with General Strike U.S. – Colorado,  Indivisible ND2B,  No Concentration Camps in Colorado, Notes of DissentLunch Punks, & Community United in Solidarity with Palestine (CUSP).
