2nd Annual Old Time Fiddle Contest

The Old Time Fiddle Contest is coming back for its second year! Join us on Colorado Day at the Steinbaugh Pavilion for a fun, and ever so slightly competitive, show of local talent. We invite all local and regional fiddle players to sign up and participate in this free contest for a chance to win some exciting prizes and, even more importantly, the right to call themselves the best fiddle player in Louisville!

How to Enter

The contest is free to enter by completing this sign-up sheetThe deadline to sign up is midnight on July 30, 2026.

An email to all contestants will be sent out a week before the contest to confirm registration and contact information.

The contestant order will be posted on the morning of the event during check in.

Prizes

1st Place: Soon to be announced with sponsorship from Scherer Violin Shop

2nd Place: $250 cash

3rd Place: Louisville Farmers Market goodie basket valued at $100

Run of Events

10:15 – 10:45 AM: Contestant check in

11:00 AM: Preliminary round begins

12:30 AM: Finalists are announced and finalist round begins

1:00 PM: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are announced
