About This Event

MAD LIBrarians returns to the Dairy Arts Center’s Grace Gamm Theatre in Boulder on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 10:30 AM for FREE improvised children’s theatre. This interactive storytelling show from Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC) features professional Colorado improvisers creating spontaneous, hilarious stories based on book titles made up by kids in the audience. Watch veteran performers, including Margarita Archilla, Sheevani Desai, Asa Erlendson, Adrian Holguin, Brian Kusic, Archer Rosenkrantz, Jean Schuman, Mitchell Slevc, and Nanna Thompson, bring children’s creative imaginations to life through theatrical improvisation. Each performance is completely unique and unrepeatable. Free craft activity starts at 10:30 AM. First-come, first-served seating with 25-30. No ticket reservations required. Pay-what-you-can donations support the show and artists. Perfect Sunday morning, Boulder family entertainment. Birthday party packages available for $95 plus a suggested $5/attendee donation, including show, improv workshop with actors, and celebration space.
