Event Details

Friday, July 10 – Sunday, July 12
9 am – 4 pm

Join us for our first ever Mess Fest, a full-body, no-holds-barred celebration of sensory play!

All three days, kiddos are invited to dive headfirst (literally!) into a giant mound of mud and dance their hearts out in fluffy foam. But that’s not all! Each day will have its own featured mega mess.

Friday – Glorious Goo
Saturday – Party with Paint
Sunday – Squishy Shaving Cream

And don’t worry – we’ve thought of everything. Before you head out, swing by our Kid Wash for a quick rinse so your little ones leave clean(ish) and ready for the ride home.

This is your chance to make some amazing memories… Get ready to let go, get messy and embrace the magic of play!

Pricing

Activities are included with Museum admission, members are FREE!

Not a member? Join today for a full year of wonder and joy.

Tips for a Great Event

When we say messy, we mean messy. Pack a change of clothes and a towel. Changing tents will be available outside.

Help us keep the Museum clean by starting your visit with inside play (there will be mini messes to explore in some of our most popular interior exhibits!), and then moving outside to Joy Park for messy fun.

Leave your strollers (and anything else you don’t want to get messy!) in your car.

Organizer

Children's Museum of Denver

We believe in kid-powered learning. Every day, we work to open doors for our future leaders, innovators, and adventurers to explore, create and learn - on their own terms. Our target ages are newborn through eight years old, but everyone can have a good time at the Museum! Our exhibits are hands-on, interactive and totally one-of-a-kind.
