Our Fall Curiosity Concert

Boulder Symphony’s “Curiosity Concerts” are original shows with fun and recognizable tunes. Our upcoming concert, The Creative Spirit, features a ghostly composer who reunites with a lifelong friend and music partner for the world premiere of their final creation, only to discover the song is incomplete. With time slipping away, they must enlist the audience’s help to finish the song and perform it before the ghost composer departs again.

Some of the songs you might recognize include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, Radiohead’s “Creep,” Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill,” Arturo Márquez’s “Dánzon No. 2,” and “La Llorona,” among others. This show is for all ages but is aimed for children ages 4 to 12 and includes an interactive song and dance.

We will also have a few students from Boulder Symphony Music Academy playing a mini recital in the lobby prior to the concert, and our instrument petting zoo after the concert. Costumes are encouraged!

These concerts sell out every year, so make sure you purchase your tickets in advance!
