The Word Alive – The Eyes Above Tour at Marquis Theater

The Word Alive, the Phoenix-based metalcore band known for their dynamic blend of heavy riffs and melodic elements, brings their Eyes Above Tour to Denver’s Marquis Theater on July 31, 2025. The tour is in support of their latest single, “Eyes Above,” marking their first new material since the 2023 album Hard Reset. Joining them are TX2, a rising force in the metal scene, and Unwell, known for their raw and emotive sound. This all-ages show promises an evening of intense performances and powerful music. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the show starting at 7:30 PM.

The band currently consists of vocalist Tyler Smith, guitarist Jose DelRio, guitarist Logan Abernethy, and drummer Devin Attard. Their second EP, Empire reached No. 15 on the Top Heatseekers, meeting a great amount of positive acclaim upon its release in 2009. The following year, the group recorded and released their debut studio album, Deceiver on August 31, 2010, which reached No. 97 on the Billboard 200 and 15 on Independent Albums.
