Vagabonds at Wednesday Night Square Dance

The Vagabonds is led by the amazing voice of Caitlin (Cat) McDonald and beautiful flowing harmonies of her father Mike they cover timeless artists such as Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Townes VanZandt and Guy Clark as well as various contemporary artists including Brandi Carlile, Sarah Jarosz, Norah Jones and countless others.

Mike and Cat have both played music for most of their lives, but always separately until 2018. One fateful day Mike had the opportunity to meet John Randall who wrote the tune Whiskey Lullaby made famous when Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss recorded it as a duo. Cat had been heavily influenced by Alison Krauss all her life, so of course it was a favorite of hers and they decided to play around with the song just for fun and the rest is history.
