Women + Film Festival

Women+Film is a three-day live event screening outstanding features, shorts, and documentaries celebrating female filmmakers behind the camera and stories of women on the screen. Produced by Denver Film, our programming team promises a lineup of the best new films to inspire and transform, paired with exciting events supporting local talent.

A portrait of poet Mary Oliver, tracing her path from lonely childhood to literary icon, featuring readings by Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Buscemi, Stephen Colbert, Lucy Dacus, Jesse Welles, and Oprah Winfrey.

OPENING NIGHT: COOKIE QUEENS | Dir. Alysa Nahmias
A heartfelt look at girlhood through the whirlwind of Girl Scout Cookie season, following four young sellers as they navigate joy, pressure, and coming-of-age.

ONE IN A MILLION | Dir. Itab Azzam, Jack MacInnes
Filmed over a decade, this intimate chronicle follows Israa from Syria to Germany and back, capturing her journey through war, exile, and the search for identity and belonging.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN WOMEN SHORTS PROGRAM
Celebrate Colorado cinema with a homegrown shorts program!
