World Migratory Bird Day is a global initiative coordinated by the non-profit, Environment for the Americas, based in Boulder. The event connects communities across regions in efforts to protect migratory birds and the habitats they depend on.
Bird walks begin at 7:30 am, with education stations opening at 9:00 am. Visitors can enter a sweepstakes giveaway that supports bird conservation programs across the Americas.
Environment for the Americas connects diverse people to birds and nature and inspires the next generation of conservationists through education, outreach, research, and trainings.
