Yazzy Simons is a Turkish-American vocalist and composer from the San Francisco Bay Area, now based in Denver. She is currently pursuing vocal jazz studies at the University of Denver under the guidance of Tatiana Mayfield.
For this evening, Yazzy and guitarist Kylan Fermin present arrangements of their original music for a sextet — jazz-fusion compositions woven with Brazilian and Turkish influence. The program previews material from their debut release, Three Piece Living Room Set, set for 2026.
