Weekend Pick: Spontaneous Laughter

Ok, we’ve seen enough of the scripted sitcoms every week. You know Michael Scott will put his foot in his mouth on The Office, somebody may die on Grey’s Anatomy, and Alec Baldwin will play dumb on 30 Rock. So try something a little less scripted, a little more spontaneous. Every weekend, the Madcap Theater in Westminster gives audiences the so-funny-it-hurts laughter in improv comedy shows. Voted Denver’s NO.1 Comedy Venue by Channel 7’s A-List, its actors hail from noted improv theaters and troupes from Hollywood to Denver and Chicago.

Each night, four actors take the stage, playing games, creating stories on the spot and making fools of themselves in general—all for the sake of your entertainment. Best of all, it’s G-rated, so you can bring the whole family.
