Dear Motus Friend & Supporter,

We invite you to join our friends at the Early Childhood Council of Boulder County to advocate for accessible, affordable childcare and early childhood education at their March for Childcare this Saturday, May 18 from 9-11am in Longmont.

The event will start in Roosevelt Park in the morning at Longmont’s Roosevelt Park this Saturday, May 18 with passionate speakers, followed by a short march.

Finding accessible, affordable childcare and early childhood education is a problem facing families, employers, and our broader community. Motus founder, Kirsten Wilson and many of the Motus monologists speak about the role that the lack of safe and affordable childcare has had on their lives and their children’s lives. Here is a link to a powerful story from Motus Theater’s JustUs project by Cynthia Randall. Her decision to sell drugs was directly related to the challenges of safe and affordable childcare.

Join us to demand better for our youngest residents and the future of Boulder County, sponsored by the Early Childhood Council of Boulder County.
