Prost Brewing Co. Releases Marzen Oktoberfest-style Lager

Denver (Sept. 18, 2024) – Kick off the fall like a German with Märzen Oktoberfest-style Lager from Prost Brewing Co., the brewery dedicated to German craft bier perfection. Prost announces the release of Märzen Oktoberfest-style Lager (5.8% ABV), a beloved seasonal style, now available in all of their Colorado taprooms and in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans at retailers across seven state distribution area.

Germany’s famous Oktoberfest event, established in 1810, features two main, traditional bier styles: the light, crisp fest bier and the more toasty, malty Märzen. Prost’s Märzen has light nutty, bready aromas, with punchy malt notes that waver between sweet and dry and a burst of earthy hops in the finish. This classic, medium-to-full bodied amber delivers lightly toasted malt and caramel flavors distinctive of the style.
