DENVER (June 10, 2026) – The Colorado Working Families Party (CO-WFP) today announced its endorsement of David Seligman in the Democratic Primary race for Attorney General. Seligman joins WFP’s previously endorsed 2026 slate (below) after a member-driven endorsement process that reflected the strength of a field featuring multiple longtime champions of working people and allies of the Working Families Party.

“Working people across Colorado know the game is rigged. Corporate landlords are burying renters in junk fees, for-profit hospitals are driving families into medical debt, and giant corporations are stealing wages while making record profits,” said Wynn Howell, State Director of Colorado Working Families Party. “David Seligman has spent his career taking on those fights and winning. He’s stood with workers against Amazon and Uber, challenged corporate abuse, and recovered millions of dollars for working people. As Attorney General, he’ll put the power of the law on the side of everyday Coloradans, not billionaires, monopolies, and corporate special interests.”

“I’m deeply humbled and grateful to receive the endorsement of the Colorado Working Families Party, an organization that has spent years fighting back against the billionaires, corporations, and dark money groups trying to tighten their grip on our democracy,” said David Seligman. “I’m running for Attorney General because the law doesn’t belong to Donald Trump, it doesn’t belong to corporations, it doesn’t belong to the Democratic Party. It belongs to the people of Colorado. When working families stand together, we can build something truly transformative: a politics that advances the dignity, safety, and freedom of all people, a government for the many, not the money.”

The Working Families Party is the party for the working class of all races. We all work hard to take care of our families and contribute to our communities. We deserve leaders who will fight for us. But some politicians are teaming up with greedy corporations to drive up the cost of everything from groceries to housing, childcare and college–and they’re attacking our basic freedoms like abortion rights and the right to vote. The Working Families Party is regular people coming together to fight for a country that puts working people first.
