“Red, White & Blue”

Core Art Space is proud to present “Red, White & Blue”, a juried exhibition of artists from the Front Range and across the country. This summer marks the 250th Anniversary of the United States. To honor this moment, Core Art Space is presenting a juried exhibition on the theme of “Red, White and Blue.” The theme was interpreted broadly as artists submitted works that simply feature the colors of red, white and/or blue; or treated the theme as inherently political. Some of the pieces expressed the concepts associated with “red, white and blue,” whether or not those colors are actually employed in the works. All in all, this is a spirited exhibition held during this time of celebration and reflection. Juror: Michael Paglia is an art historian and professional art writer whose weekly columns appeared in Westword for 25 years. In addition, Paglia’s art reviews have been published in national periodicals, and he has authored more than twenty books on modern and contemporary art in the American West. Paglia has juried and curated many exhibitions.
