The bewitching month is upon us, and there are plenty of events to keep your spooky bone satisfied all month long with pumpkin patches, trick-or-treating, musical events, and the perennial favorite: being chased through a haunted corn maze by a beat up clown and a chainsaw. Find an event that suits your idea of a bloody good time.

It’s all treats and no tricks at this fun family farm event. Kids under 10 get a free treat bag where they can collect candy from 40 different store fronts in this make-believe village. TRICK OR TREAT TRAIN (Golden)
Oct. 27 & 28 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ride in vintage passenger cars pulled by a historic locomotive. The conductors and engineers will be in costume as the train makes special stops to fill treat bags and tickle your funny bones including a “not so spooky” haunted railcar and a silly graveyard. ANDERSON FARMS FALL FESTIVAL (Erie) Through Oct. 31

THE BARTELS FARM (Fort Collins)

CHATFIELD FARMS CORN MAZE (Denver) Through Oct. 28

JACK LANTERN’S CORN MAZE (Fort Collins) Oct. 6 – 31 | opens 11 a.m.

MAIZE IN THE CITY (Thornton) Through Oct. 31

Come be the children in the corn. The main maze may take you 40 minutes to solve, or try the mini-maze. RED WAGON PUMPKIN PATCH (Boulder)
