Haven Ridge Announces New Homeless Outreach Program

Haven Ridge is excited to share the expansion of our donation & outreach work with the addition of a new full-time, peer-led outreach operation that will offer evidence-based services and support across Boulder’s unhoused community.

In November, the board of directors at Feet Forward will be hanging up their hats and closing down the Feet Forward 501c3, so that Haven Ridge, in partnership with the current Feet Forward outreach team, can take the baton and keep running with this important work. Throughout this transition, the incredible outreach efforts of the staff will continue and the organization’s history will be honored. Haven Ridge is thankful for the work of Feet Forward’s interim director Leanne Wheeler to bring us to this point, and we are honored to be able to pick up where Feet Forward will leave off.

Under the banner of Boulder Feet Forward at Haven Ridge, the inspiring people that make up the staff of Feet Forward – Program Manager Libby Ogletree and Peer Outreach Specialist Kyesha Willauer Gallucci – will be joining us at Haven Ridge and bringing their expertise, their years of experience, and their passion for making a difference.

“Outreach work is about meeting people where they are, literally and figuratively. It’s about helping people set goals, and walking beside them as they navigate obstacles,” said Libby Ogletree, manager of the Boulder Feet Forward at Haven Ridge program, “At times, those obstacles can seem impossible. That’s when it’s most important to be present with people, to stand with them in their moments of frustration and disillusionment as well as in their moments of triumph. The work we’re doing is helping people to achieve real change.”

While clients and the community can expect to notice a difference in our branding, an expansion in our offerings, and a change in our leadership, the work you have come to admire and respect over the past 4 years will continue with the same high standard with which Feet Forward is synonymous.

We all want to see a world where no one has to live on the street, and meeting people where they’re at really allows us to start helping even earlier than before.”
