This landmark exhibit honors the 50th anniversary of six same-sex marriage licenses issued in Boulder in 1975 — a moment well ahead of its time. It traces the courageous leadership of local figures like Clela Rorex, Penfield Tate II, and Tim Fuller, whose early actions in support of LGBTQ+ rights laid the foundation for broader acceptance and change.
