Denver Brass Announces the 2025-2026 Season: 45 Years of Sound Forged by Time
Season opens September 21 with fan-driven “Brass By Request” concert, plus five additional performances across the metro area

DENVER – September 16, 2025 – This fall, Denver Brass celebrates the kick-off of its 45th season with a lineup that honors its rich legacy and history while engaging audiences in new ways. The theme of the season, “Forged by Time,” signals an ensemble rooted in tradition and fueled by passion, innovation and community. The season starts on September 21 with Brass By Request, a concert shaped almost entirely by the audience, followed by five additional shows which will take place from November 2025 through May 2026. Season tickets are available with multiple subscription options and special pricing for seniors and youth.

“Denver Brass is among the finest large brass ensembles in the world, and surely unique for the way it expands musical boundaries in its search to be most relatable and relevant,” said Kathy Brantigan, artistic director and founder of Denver Brass. “Our shows are highly themed, family-friendly, entertaining, and educational. Highlights of the upcoming season include Brass by Request, a one-of-a-kind experience where the audience selects the music that will be played at the show, and Legacy in Brass and Spirit of the Season, which will both be recorded live for new albums.”

The first show in the season, Brass By Request, is a high-energy afternoon of fan favorites which sets the tone for the season. Fans have been voting ahead of time on which pieces they want to hear at the show; at the event the audience will vote live on up to two additional pieces. Tickets for Brass By Request are $25 (plus tax) for general admission. Children ages 12 and under attend for free. The show will take place at 2:30 PM at The People’s Building in Aurora (9995 East Colfax Avenue, Aurora).

Each additional concert in the upcoming season showcases a different facet of the Brass’s artistry: commissioned works, holiday favorites, Celtic roots, cosmic rhythms, and patriotic celebration. Concerts include:
