Events at this location

The first Denver Public Library was established in 1889 in a wing of Denver High School. For the past 135 years, we have been providing essential resources to the community including early literacy programs, computer and internet access and training, family and adult programs, and so much more. We have adjusted to the growing needs of our community and will continue to evolve to ensure Denverites have a library system that supports their lifelong journeys of exploration and connection.
