Events at this location

The city of Lafayette has proclaimed May 17, 2025, the official kids day of Lafayette. This is an event dedicated to health, safety and environmental awareness for children! We hope to make this an annual event and this is the first year bringing this to our town!

During this event, we will distribute essential information on crime prevention, child safety, and environmental awareness issues.  The Police Department will be there educating, handing out stickers and showing off their patrol cars for all children who attend.  The Fire Department’s role is to support the event by providing fire safety tips and distributing important information.

We will also provide free balloons, snacks, and giveaways, and hold prize drawings every half-hour!  We have chosen to sponsor CO Feeding Kids as part of our celebration to spotlight their involvement in whose mission is to provide nutritious food to impoverished people in Colorado and around the world. This event is not for profit and completely free to the community!
