The Ozark Mountain Daredevils have been aptly described as “a ragtag collection of hippies, bohemians, and musicians of no fixed ambition.” They have always been indefinable in terms of music genres, producing sounds of country-rock and electric bluegrass all on the same record; writing lyrics both whimsical and poetic, singing harmonies that would send shivers up your spine.
The Daredevils’ formal beginning as a band was in Springfield, Missouri in 1971, and included musicians Larry Lee, Steve Cash, Michael Supe Granda, John Dillon, Buddy Brayfield, and Randle Chowning. In the beginning they called themselves the Family Tree, then Burlap Socks, and then the Emergency Band. But finally, in a nod to Commander Cody who was one of their musical heroes, they settled on the catchy moniker of Cosmic Corncob & His Amazing The Ozark Mountain Daredevils—The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, for short.
Since their early beginnings in December 1971, the Daredevils have released several major label and independent record label recordings, traveled millions of miles performing throughout North America and Europe, and they continue to grow and maintain a loyal and dedicated fan base throughout the world.

Broadway, television, and film star Robert Neary creates an unforgettable tribute to one of the greatest recording artists in history, Neil Diamond! Two hours packed with 24 classic hit songs, nostalgia, multimedia, stories and trivia, and a finale that is pure Broadway caliber. This is a true immersion into the life and career of Neil Diamond. Critical praise across the internet and social media has called this show “The most authentic and professional tribute to Neil Diamond and delivers nothing short of a true Neil Diamond concert experience”. The concert has even been filmed as a documentary feature and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, where, it too, continues to draw rave reviews.
With over 40 years in the entertainment business, Robert Neary has 3 Broadway leads, and over 60 major guest-starring television and film roles to his credit. He created this incredible show in 2019 and perfected it during the pandemic along with NY’s premier band, The Mystic. Now in its 5th year, So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience starring Robert Neary is selling out venues all over the US with no end in sight.
