The Boulder Dance Coalition joins together dance leaders and organizers to create a robust dance community.

The Boulder Dance Coalition’s mission is to promote dance—and the physical and mental well-being, social connections, and shared joy it brings—by providing affordable facilities and support for dance and related community events. Values

The BDC accomplishes its mission by operating The Avalon. The Avalon is a building with a large ballroom and several smaller studios designed and built for dancers. The coalition members participate by volunteering their time and skills to operate, maintain, and improve The Avalon, and by offering classes and dance events that support the coalition’s mission.
