The purpose of the Immigrant Protection Teams (IPTs) is to: 1) provide a clear message to the immigrant community that we are standing with you, you are not alone; 2) provide factual information about immigrants to counteract the many myths in the media; and 3) put pressure on elected officials to develop more humane approaches to immigration policy.
