Event Details
The Songwriters Meetup is a free monthly hang for local songwriters, musicians, and those aspiring to write original music to share their works-in-progress. Sing, play an instrument, or just bring your support for those who are sharing. This is a great space to ask for the input, encouragement, fresh ideas, or just supportive listening. Meet new friends and collaborators, and lets build a collaborative thriving musical community here in Lafayette!
Dog House Music Studios has coffee, tea, spring water, and a bar with beer, wine, cider, and hard seltzers! No outside alcohol is permitted.
All skill levels, music genres, and ages are warmly welcomed! The Songwriters Meetup is facilitated by local musician and singersongwriter Carly Fox.

Organizer
Rock for the People
A local nonprofit organization that's cultivating a diverse, inclusive and equitable local music community in Boulder County by removing barriers for performers, audio professionals, and music fans who are often underrepresented in our local music industry. They offer free and low-cost rehearsal, recording, and marketing services and paid gigs for musicians and performers, plus paid opportunities for aspiring audio professionals. They prioritize serving and working with women, non-binary people, BIPOC, Hispanic, and LGBTQ+-identifying musicians, performers, audio professionals, and fans.
