Just a few months ago, it seemed Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign to be the Democrat presidential candidate was a long shot at best. But he’s won over droves of voters at caucus and primaries throughout the United States and now seems to be the front runner for both the Dem nomination and the race in general. That means a minority is now the favorite. Although many will say race doesn’t matter, this will nonetheless dominate headlines as the race continues to unfold. Obama, the freshman senator from Illinois, has avoided the race card in debates and other public appearances. Should he be?
