Study shows Fox News has a direct effect on COVID-19 cases

Research by the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics is finding that the reporting of Tucker Carlson Tonight and Sean Hannity had a measurable influence on the number of Coronavirus cases.

Ars Technica has a rating of Least Biased and Highly Accurate.


Tucker Carlon has a rating of 75% False, 12% Half-True and 12% Mostly True


Sean Hannity has a rating of 55% False, 14% Half-True, 7% Mostly True, and 17% True.


Fox News has a rating of Mixed.

“Fox News would be rated a Questionable source based on numerous failed fact checks by hosts and pundits, however, straight news reporting is generally reliable, therefore we rate them Mixed for factual reporting.”
