April’s Theme of the Month

Sustainable Earth

As you may know, Earth is what we Tappists call Outworld, and it has all the planetary requirements for beer! To further educate our visitors, we have an installation at a museum exhibit explaining the elements of Earth beer. At Outworld, we are committed to using locally sourced ingredients in both our food and beer. For instance, our upcoming Fruit Saison uses only locally sourced fruits, and all our meat is sourced from Lombardi, a local supplier. In addition, we practice sustainable waste management by composting our food waste. Moreover, we are organizing an East Longmont Farmer’s Market and would love to know if you are interested in supporting it. Lastly, we want to give a shout-out to Earth-centric organizations, laboratories, and eco-friendly companies in Longmont such as NCAR, NOAA, and ESRI for their work in earth science research and conservation. We also want to recognize eco-friendly businesses in Boulder, including Independent Motors and Clean Conscience. These companies are making a positive impact on the environment, and we encourage our customers to support them as well.
