St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation Presents The 38th Annual Sunrise Stampede

Participants who register by April 20th will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.
St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation and the Sunrise Stampede Committee are excited to announce that registration is open for the Sunrise Stampede 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun run. We are looking forward to hosting the race as a community event to kick off the 2023-2024 school year.
New for 2023:
A student class has been added to the 5K wheelchair division
Adults will be able to register and participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run
IN-PERSON RACE DETAILS:
April 4th: Registration Opens
August 8th at Noon: Registration with T-Shirt Closes
August 10th at Midnight: Online Registration Closes
August 12th: In-Person Race at Silver Creek High
6:45 am – Check In, Race Day Registration and Sponsor Alley Open
7:45 am – 1 Mile Fun Run Race Day Registration Closes
8:00 am – 1 Mile Fun Run Start
8:15 am – 5K Race Day Registration Closes
8:30 am – 5K Race start
9:30 am – Awards Ceremony
IN-PERSON REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
5K In-Person Race:
FREE for the first 200 St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Students to register for the 5K, courtesy of Centura Longmont United Hospital. (After free registrations are fulfilled students can register for $10)
$30 for 5K from April 4th to May 15th
$35 for 5K from May 16th to June 30th
$40 for 5K from July 1st to August 8th at noon
Entry into the In-Person 5K Race
Includes a Sunrise Stampede t-shirt
Race Medal (for first 800 participants)
Entry into race day give-a-way drawing (must be present to win)
$40 for 5K from August 8th at noon to August 10th at midnight & August 12th Race Day
Entry into the In-Person 5K Race
Entry into race day give-a-way drawing (must be present to win)
NO guarantee of Sunrise Stampede t-shirt or race medal
1 Mile In-Person Fun Run:

$20 for 1 Mile Fun Run from April 4th to May 15th
$25 for 1 Mile Fun Run from May 16th to June 30th
$30 for 1 Mile Fun Run from July 1st to August 8th at noon

The Sunrise Stampede is a family-oriented 5K run/walk with a 1 mile fun run that has raised $290,000+ for student programs in St. Vrain Valley Schools. All net proceeds support Special Education and Mental Health Teacher Innovation Grants. These grants are awarded to teachers who have innovative ideas to enhance learning for students.
