DENVER A new documentary, Co-Existing with Wildfire, will premier on Rocky Mountain PBS (RMPBS) on Sunday, July 30, at 10:30 a.m. The film explores the shared responsibilities of local, state, and federal agencies to steward public lands by managing and mitigating wildfires. Co-Existing with Wildfire was produced and directed by Steven Weiss and Jesse Grace through Colorado State University, Fort Collins with support from the Colorado Office of Film, Television, and Media (COFTM) within the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) and in partnership with Colorado State University, the Department of Natural Resources, and the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control within the Department of Public Safety. Following the premier, the documentary will be available for streaming on the RMPBS website.
