Press Releases are provided to Yellow Scene. In an effort to keep our community informed, we publish some press releases in whole.

Boulder County, CO – Boulder County, the Cities of Boulder, Lafayette, and Louisville, and the Towns of Erie, Superior, Lyons, and Nederland in partnership with nonprofit Solar United Neighbors will be announcing the launch of the first Boulder Solar Co-op on Monday, September 18. The solar co-op is a group formed to help members make it easy to save on solar.

The solar co-op is free to join and joining is not a commitment to purchase panels. Once the group is large enough, it will solicit competitive bids from area solar installers. Co-op members will select a single company to complete all of the installations. They will then have the option to purchase panels individually based on the installer’s group rate. All residents and small business owners who reside in Boulder County and are interested in joining the co-op can sign up at solarunitedneighbors.org/boulder.

Interviews available with local government representatives, partnering County, City, and Town staff, and Solar United Neighbors. Please reach out to Hannah Arndt at [email protected].
