Press releases are provided to Yellow Scene Magazine. In an effort to keep our community informed, we publish some press releases in whole.

On Friday, Nov. 24, from 1-2:30pm, there will be an advocacy action to raise awareness for the
plight of the hostages in Gaza, especially the children. The plan is for 40 people to march from
9th St. and Pearl down the Pearl Street Mall to the courthouse. Each person will push an empty
baby stroller or wagon. On each stroller/wagon will be a printed poster of a child held hostage in
Gaza. A red helium balloon will be tied to each stroller/wagon, as well.

Marchers will gather at 12pm to organize into lines, receive posters and balloons, and prepare
for the march. The march will pause at the Courthouse for songs and speakers before returning to
the starting point. Rabbi Fred Greene, Rabbi Marc Soloway, and Rebbetzin Leah Wilhelm will
be making comments.

This event is organized by Gali Beh, private citizen, who can be reached at [email protected]
or 303-514-2375.

On October 7, 2023, over 1200 Israelis were killed by the terrorist group, Hamas, and over 240
people were kidnapped and taken to Gaza, including an estimated 40 children, ranging in age
from 10 months to teenagers. More details can be found here. It is our profound hope that many
of those children will be freed in the currently negotiated hostages release deal, expected to take
place on Thanksgiving. We gather together to remember and remind others of the children and
hostages still in captivity and unable to be with their families.

This event is co-sponsored by Congregations Bonai Shalom and Har HaShem, Adventure Rabbi,
and CU Chabad.
