Two weeks of 3-Hour Immersions, 90-Minute Classes, Workshops, Performances, Networking with aerialists from across the country, and more. Join us in beautiful Boulder, CO, for one week or two!

Opening Reception & Party: Sunday, July 28, 6 PM

Open to all registered students. Celebrate the start of the Festival with Faculty Artists and other attendees! Get your ADF 2024 t-shirt, see old friends and make new connections. Held at Frequent Flyers’ Studios.

Frequent Flyers® Aerial Dance Festival 2024 Showcase Performance

 Tickets Frequent Flyers® Aerial Dance annual international Aerial Dance Festival 2024 Showcase Performance brings together world-class artists in one show. Lyra, stilts, bungee, aerial chains, invented apparatus, dance trapeze, multicorde, and more. You won’t see these artists anywhere else in the world in one show.
Three performances: Friday August 2, Saturday August 3, and Sunday August 4.

ADF 2024 3-Hour Immersions

Immersions meet Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm, Week A or Week B. Each Immersion gives you 15 hours of topic-focused class time with a renowned instructor. You’ll leave with new skills, expanded perspective, and flying friends from across the country!

Three Immersions to choose from each week:

Week A (July 29-August 2)

  • Bungee Dance & Build with Danielle Hendrick
  • Dance Trapeze with Summer Lacy
  • Fabric Sequencing 101: A Guide to Aerial Act Creation with Veronica Blair

Week B (August 5-9)

  • Lyra Spanset & Top-Bar Theory with Sofia Rodriguez
  • Tethered Dancing: Rope & Harness with Valerie Morris
  • Silks Theory with Anastasia Timina

Frequent Flyers® Aerial Dance, founded in 1988 by Artistic Director Nancy Smith, celebrates 36 years in 2024. The non-profit offers extensive education programs, including community classes, summer camps, youth and adult companies, and outreach for at-risk youth (Kids Who Fly). They also provide pre-professional and professional training. Over 22,600 students have learned aerial dance with Frequent Flyers. Their award-winning Professional Performing Company has performed at the Kennedy Center and for over 209,000 audience members. Frequent Flyers created the first international Aerial Dance Festival, now in its 26th year. Their facility features two large studios with 23? ceilings and 4,500 sq.ft. of space. Frequent Flyers® is a leading aerial dance organization worldwide.
