Two World-Renowned Masters Demonstrate the Power of the Taoist Arts in Longmont, CO

Energy Arts and Hong Gia Viet host an event with 2 authentic Taoist Lineage Holders – dissolving the mystery around spirituality, chi, and martial art.

[Longmont, CO – February 22-23, 2025] — Energy Arts and Hong Gia Viet, in collaboration with the Insights Foundation, will co-host a rare two-day event on kung fu and neigong (internal energy cultivation) at the Energy Arts Training Center in Longmont, Colorado. This event will be taught by Master Bruce K. Frantzis and Grandmaster Ly Hong Thai, two internationally respected Taoist Lineage Holders. As Lineage Holders with over 100 years of combined experience, they are entrusted with preserving and passing on authentic Taoist arts, ensuring their survival in the modern world. Attendees will gain a deep understanding of how neigong—practiced both in martial arts forms and in simple movement—develops the body and mind to unlock health, clarity, focus, power, and spiritual evolution.

Master Frantzis, author of 13 books and founder of Energy Arts, describes neigong with a thought-provoking analogy: “When you buy a fancy bottle of wine, are you buying it for the bottle or for the wine inside?” This highlights the essence of neigong: the internal work done inside the body and mind during a martial form or even in simple physical movement. Grandmaster Ly Hong Thai will teach how his practice connects with the Tao—the primordial force that underlies all existence. After many challenges around the world, he remains undefeated, including against one of Ip Man’s (A well-recognized teacher of Bruce Lee) Senior Students.
