Women in Colorado are tired of politicians like Gabe Evans spreading their hateful anti-freedom rhetoric and then walking it back. Make no mistake, Gabe Evans is as hateful and extreme as JD Vance and Donald Trump, and Coloradans are starting to take notice.

When it comes to politicians like Gabe Evans, it’s not just that Evans opposes women’s reproductive freedom and that he doesn’t get “female reproductive care stuff” because he “doesn’t have the right parts.” Gabe Evans calls the right to abortion “ridiculous” and proudly declares he is “about as pro-life as they come.” Evans is an arrogant bannerman for rightwing extremist policy agendas like Project 2025. Let’s clear up Gabe’s short tenure as a legislator just in Colorado:

• Evans was one the few opposed capping the price of EpiPens and insulin.
• Evans received a failing score from the Mental Health Association of Colorado and a failing score from the Women’s lobby of Colorado.
• Evans took the time to go to the microphone on the State House Floor to oppose Title X and coverage of birth control and breast cancer screenings.
• Evans’ top political director was fired after her long record of racist and violent statements was exposed.
• Evans opposes civil rights for LGBTQIA+ people.
• Evans opposes public education.
• Evans opposes programs like equal pay and paid family leave.
• Evans supports Trump’s proposed mass deportations.

The reason that women do not like Gabe Evans is simple:

Gabe Evans is arrogant and hateful, especially toward women and families.

And we need to let people know.

Called the right to abortion “ridiculous”: Gabe Evans called the right to abortion “ridiculous” and proudly declared he is “about as pro-life as they come.”

F rating for Mental Health and Women’s Issues: Evans received a failing score from the Mental Health Association of Colorado and a failing score from the Women’s lobby of Colorado.

A Campaign of Extremists: Evans was forced to fire his top political director after her long record of extreme, racist, and violent statements was exposed by local media.

Opposes Public Education: Evans supports diversion of public education funding to support private schools, and promises to “break down” the Department of Education.

Outlier on Medical Needs: Evans was one 10 out of 65 to oppose capping the price of an EpiPen and also voted against capping the price of insulin.

Right-wing college crusader: Evans attended Patrick Henry College a right-wing radical college that encourages women to fit around their “husband’s  career.”

Supports Trump’s mass deportations: “I think you have to, definitely, prioritize it,” said Evans when asked if he would support mass deportations under a second Trump administration.
