**Talking Points Here
The Draco Oil and Gas Development Project is a 26 wellbore fracking proposal that spans 5 miles west from unincorporated Weld County into Boulder County. It would impact the towns of Erie and Lafayette and over 20 distinct neighborhoods.
The proposed Draco underground wellbores would intersect and overlap existing horizontal wellbores at the nearby Pratt and Waste Connections fracking sites in addition to crossing more than 80 older vertical wells. This likely interference between multiple wells in the same location is very dangerous and is made worse by the extremely high pressures created by fracking which can cause rupture of nearby wells, underground leaks and surface explosions.
Please join us at the Oct 29th ECMC public meeting to add your voice to the community outcry against this large and risky proposal!
