Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA) Announces Syncopation @ BMoCA

BOULDER, CO – November 12, 2025 – Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA) is excited to announce Syncopation @ BMoCA. Syncopation is BMoCA’s new after-hours art-infused experience that spotlights unique perspectives on our exhibitions from Boulder’s creative community. Syncopation takes place three times a year to coincide with each exhibition.

Join us for the first Syncopation @ BMoCA on Saturday, December 13, 2025 for an evening of music, interactive art, chess, and more. Reminisce with us about a low-tech/slow-tech past that is the 90’s-early/2000’s web culture!

Come dressed as your favorite aesthetic of the Y2K and dance the night away! DJ Day Job (@itsdayjobmusic) will be playing some tunes inspired by our current exhibition, MediaLive: Data Rich, Dirt Poor, which examines our complex relationship with technology through innovative, thought-provoking new media art.
