TODAY: Colorado AFL-CIO to Host Stand With Minnesota Rally

Will demand “ICE-out” and justice for Good, Pretti, immigrant community

DENVER – Today, part of a national AFL-CIO day of action, Colorado workers and activists will rally in solidarity with Minnesotans standing up to protect their immigrant neighbors. As many Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents abuse their power in extreme mass deportation operations, participants will demand of Colorado’s Congressional delegation:

  • The immediate removal of ICE from Minneapolis/St. Paul and other cities
  • Justice and accountability for Renee Good, union brother Alex Pretti, and all victims of ICE cruelty and violence
  • Revocation of ICE funding for mass deportation

WHAT: Stand With Minnesota Rally

WHO: Colorado AFL-CIO – speakers will include:

  • Jeanette Vizguerra
  • Juan Sebastian Pinto
  • Potential speakers from CORRN, Together Colorado, and an indigenous community leader
