PRESS RELEASE: Energize Colorado – Making your business COVID compliant

Donate TodaySUPPORT LOCAL MEDIA-DONATE NOW!

PRESS RELEASE: Press Releases are provided to Yellow Scene. In an effort to keep our community informed, we are now publishing some press releases in whole.

Colorado is now RED on the COVID dial, the infection rate is over 12% and one in forty-nine Coloradan’s are now infected with COVID.

We can help you take proactive measures to protect your business with the COVID Safety System and Certification program and COVIDCheck Colorado.

The COVID Safety System and Certification program was designed to help ensure that businesses, schools, and municipalities in Colorado follow CDC/state/local public health guidelines.  With the safety system, you are able to protect your employees and customers, and importantly, this will help you to mitigate the liability exposure that you may be subjected to should an outbreak occur in your facility.

The COVID Safety System and Certification includes four steps:

  1. Pre-Audit Planning (1 hour via Zoom): the largest areas of concern in the designated facility are discussed and the approach to be used is shared.
  2. Audit and Gap Assessment (2-3 hour on-site visit): public health regulations that are required for the facility to be safe are provided, the facility is audited and remedies to achieve compliance are determined.
  3. Cohort and Tracing Training (1 hour on-site or Zoom): when/how to conduct cohort tracing should you experience an exposure or outbreak is addressed. An online tool is provided.
  4. Non-Accredited Certification/Recertification (1-2 hour on-site visit): a re-audit of the facility is conducted to ensure compliance. A signed, non-accredited certificate of compliance is issued. Recertification is required bi-monthly.

COVID Safety System & Certification

In collaboration with a variety of leading public health experts and partners, COVIDCheck Colorado provides employers a comprehensive approach to fast and accurate COVID-19 testing as a key component of plans to stay open.

COVID-19 testing with a nasal PCR swab will be available to anyone who visits a CCC test site free of charge through the end of 2020. This means that per-test fees will be waived, and CCC’s laboratory will not charge participants’ insurance.
