American Red Cross Opens Evacuation Center Following Louviers Fire Evacuation Order

Castle Rock, CO – The American Red Cross of the Mile High Area has opened an evacuation center at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, following evacuation orders related to a wildland fire burning near the town of Louviers.

Douglas County Fairgrounds: 500 Fairgrounds Rd, Castle Rock, CO 80104

Anyone impacted by mandatory evacuation or pre-evacuation orders can seek refuge at the shelter. All are welcome in Red Cross shelters, including pets. Red Cross volunteers are providing immediate needs, support and information. Snacks and water are available at the evacuation center, as are medical services and mental health services.
