Boulder, Colo. — On March 22, 2021, Boulder lost 10 community members, including a Boulder police officer, in a mass shooting. The city, along with several local partners, will be holding a remembrance gathering to mark the five years that have passed since that day.

Pre-gathering media availability

Mayor Aaron Brockett and Assistant City Manager Pam Davis will be available to speak with reporters.

When: Sunday, March 22 from 3 to 3:45 p.m.
Where: Museum of Boulder, 2205 Broadway in Boulder.
RSVP: Reporters interested in speaking with the mayor or assistant city manager should email Julie Causa by 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, to secure a time slot.
Parking: Several on-street parking spaces on Pine Street near the museum will be reserved for media parking and will be marked with signage. There is no media parking in the museum parking lot.

Day of Remembrance gathering

Mayor Aaron Brockett, City of Boulder Assistant City Manager Pam Davis and several victims’ families and friends will speak at the gathering.

When: Sunday, March 22 from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
Where: The Museum of Boulder, 2205 Broadway in Boulder.
Cost: The event is free and open to the public.
Media Coverage: Media interested in attending should email Julie Causa by 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, to secure space.
