Boulder Battle of the Bands at Fox Theatre, Mar. 26th

Eight bands walk in. One walks out a champion. Program Council throws down Boulder Battle of the Bands at the Fox Theatre this Thursday, March 26 — doors at 7:00, chaos kicks off at 7:30. Red Revival, Words of Mouth, On the Dot, The Cattledogs, Abernathy Shagnaster, The Speeks, Diva Cup, and Sunkissd are all coming to fight for it. Show up, get loud, cast your vote. Banshee Tree with the Riley J Band at Fox Theatre, Mar. 27

Colorado band Banshee Tree lights up Fox Theatre this Friday for not only a concert, but a musical celebration of their upcoming album Bad Luck. The local band blends genres with a unique mix of jazz, indie pop, and psychedelic rock. Boulder group The Riley J Band adds local flare to an already exciting show. This Friday at Fox Theatre, join Banshee Tree for a unique preview of Bad Luck, premiering April 17.

The Adult Cabaret Ensemble Singers come to Muse Performance Space on March 28 for a night of enchanting music and theatrical flair. The show will provide the audience with a seamless blend of classic cabaret and contemporary performance. From playful, lighthearted numbers to more dramatic, emotionally driven pieces, Le Cabaret Enchanté is guaranteed to capture the spirit of cabaret as both spectacle and storytelling, offering a night that is as enchanting as its title suggests. The Art of Requiem with the Boulder Chorale, Mar. 28th

Written in 1771, Michael Haydn’s Requiem in C Minor is one of the finest choral pieces of its time. The Boulder Chamber Orchestra and the Boulder Chorale come together to tackle this powerful work in a performance that explores the beauty of orchestra and choir. The music is profound, sublime, and will leave you stunned. The emotional depth of this piece is certainly unmatched, and the Boulder Chamber Orchestra does an excellent job of creating a soul-stirring experience.

Longmont Theatre Company presents A Night United, Mar. 30th

From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. next Monday, the Longmont Theatre Company partners with Blood Cancer United to fundraise for outreach and blood cancer research. A Night United is a diverse benefit concert powered by musical artists, storytellers, and special performances, all with the common goal of making a difference.

TRANSformative Stories, Mar. 31st

One Colorado and the Motus Theater have prepared a special performance of “TRANSformative Stories” and “What Love Requires” to celebrate Trans Day of Visibility on Mar. 31. This performance will share stories from both transgender and nonbinary leaders and parents of transgender adults. They ask that attendees RSVP so they can ensure there are enough bagels and coffee for everyone.
