French’s 5

Here’s a five-course meal alternative to the standard “bird and stuffing” routine. 1. Appetizer: Olive and Truffle Oil Tapenade
Aren’t truffles sprites who steal orphans’ shoes and turn them into gold?

2. Soup: Calvados-laced squash soup with cinnamon and bay leaves
Yes, it’s “laced” but not in the “fun” way.

3. Main Course: Caribou Tenderloin Steak with Mushrooms and Cream Caribou is just a fancy word for reindeer. Imagine the kids’ faces when you tell them you’re having reindeer just a few weeks before Christmas.

4. Side: Sweet Potato and Banana Casserole
Sweet Potatoes? Bananas? Corn flakes and brown sugar? The only thing that could make this any better is Halle Berry serving it—wearing just an apron.

5. Dessert: Chocolate Walnut Amaretto Balls
Who doesn’t love good balls?!?!
