Join the DAM for “Other People’s Pictures: Gifts from the Robert and Kerstin Adams Collection”, Aug. 25

Experience the pleasure of different points of view at the media preview of Other People’s Pictures: Selections from the Robert and Kerstin Adams Collection at the DAM, Thursday, August 25, 10am – 12pm.

Other People’s Pictures, curated by Eric Paddock, Curator of Photography, and Kimberly Roberts, Senior Curatorial Assistant of Photography at the DAM. brings together more than 70 images recently gifted to the museum by Robert and Kerstin Adams from their personal collection. This exhibition examines themes such as collecting, people and places, belief and memory, inviting visitors to contemplate their own connections to the objects, people and places in their own lives and how photographs can convey those relationships and attachments.

Other People’s Pictures will be included in general admission and opens August 28, 2022, and will run through February 26, 2023, in the 6th floor Photography Gallery of the museum’s Martin Building.
