Lafayette, CO (October 10, 2022) – On October 18, 2022, the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias (NFED) will be the recipient of funds raised from A Night for Extraordinary Dreams hosted by Samantha Mueller at Acreage by Stem Ciders in Lafayette. Samantha is hosting this event in honor of her daughter Kira, who was born with hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia, a rare genetic condition.
The NFED is the only organization in the country dedicated to serving individuals affected by ED syndromes. The EDs are a group of more than 150 syndromes causing the hair, nails, teeth and glands to develop and function abnormally. According to the Birth Defects Encyclopedia, as many as 7 in 10,000 individuals is affected by there rare conditions. Symptoms range from mild to severe.
A Night for Extraordinary Dreams will feature an evening of family fun, farm-to-table dinner, Stem Ciders, live music from Ultralowfi, and a silent auction.
